Separation of Amino Acid Enantiomers and Enantiomers of their Derivatives on Macrocyclic Antibiotic “TEICOPLANIN”

Abstract

Chromatographic behaviour of optical isomers amino acids and amino acid derivatives on macrocyclic antibiotic “Teicoplanin” bonded on silica was studied. Selectivity and capacity coefficients of amino acid derivatives depend on hydrophobic properties of modifiers. Separation of amino acids enantiomers without previous derivatization was shown.
