Simulation of Topochemical Process in Nanoparticles

Abstract

For the first time a model has been applied, which takes into account stochastic properties of topochemical reactions to solve problems of the topochemical kinetics. Such approach overcomes difficulties in attemps to solve the problems analytically. Within the scope of this model a namber of dimensional dependencies has been studied, which can not be obtained in analytical way. In particular, it was shown that dependence of the reaction rate from the particle size is described by decaying exponential function. The time, corresponding to the maximal reaction rate, obeys the expression ln(n), where n is partical size. The nucleation kinetics is in good accordance with the exponential growth law at the great values of the nucleation constant, but strongly deviates from this dependence at small values.
