Determination of silica and phosphorus as molibdenium heteropolyacids by ion-pair Hplc on reverse phase

Abstract

The chromatographic behaviour of molibdenium heteropolyacids of Si and P as ionic associates with tetrabutylammonium bromide on reverse phase C18 was studied by ion-pair HPLC. Detection - UV at 310 nm. The separation conditions were optimized, the technique for simultaneous chromatographic determination of Si and P was suggested. The calibration curves are linear in range 0,01¸0,1 mcg/ml (Si) и 0,02¸0,15 mcg/ml (P). The detection limits are (1,4±0,3)x10-3 mcg/ml (Si) and (6,7 ±1,2)x10-3 mcg/ml (P). The suggested technique was applied for analysis of the disitllated water.
