Comparative Characteristics of Physico-Chemical Properties of Manganites
A0.7Ba0.3MnO3 (A = Nd, Pr)
Abstract
The manganites of the composition A0.7Ba0.3MnO3
(A = Nd, Pr) were obtained by conventional solid state ceramic method from
nitrates and oxides of the corresponding metals. The prepared substances were
studied using X-ray phase analysis, the lattice parameters were calculated. By
iodometric titration it was shown that these substances are stoihiometric on
oxygen. It was proved that given samples possess high chemical stability in
water solutions (extent of degradation <0.1%). Dependencies of magnetic
susceptibility on temperature were investigated.
