Sulfate-reducing bacteria in biological utilization process of industry wastes that contain cellulose nitrate

Abstract

Desulfovibrio sp. can act in CN destruction very efficiently accepting the function of primary link in microbial transformation chain at denitrification stage. During growth with CN sulfate-reducing bacteria transform it to cellulose. The ions of nitrate and ammonia are founded in cultural medium. The process efficiency is dependent on conduct conditions and is maximum when carbon and nitrogen nutritions for bacterial growth are present. Nitrate-reductase activity is found in bacteria.
