Determination of mercury (II) using peroxidase covalently immobilized on the modified silica

Abstract

The activity and stability of peroxidase covalently immobilized on silica, modified with amino- and epoxy- groups were studied. On the basis of inhibiting activity of mercury (II) on the catalytic activity of the enzyme, immobilized on the indicated supports, the procedure for its determination with C_min= 0,05 ng/ml и 5 pg/ml, respectively was worked out.
