Sorption of bismuth(III) ions by bismuthol i immobilized on SILICA GEL

Abstract

By immobilizing of bismuthol I on Silochrom C-120 is received a sorbent for extraction of heavy metals from solutions. The optimal conditions sorption of bismuth(III) are found. In static conditions pH 0–4, time of phases contact for achievment of balance 15 min, concentration of bismuth more 800 mcg/l, sorbent mass 200 mg, volume of solution 10 ml, capacity of matrix 80 mmol/g (bismuthol) or 230 mg/g (bismuth). The kinetic of sorbent aiging is studied. Bismuth quantitative is desorbed of nitric acid.
