Production of chiral matrices on the base of hybrid nanosystems silver-thiocholesterol and study of their properties

Abstract

The new type of chiral matrices was proposed on the base of hybrid nanosystems silver-thiocholosterol, adsorbed in silica. It was established that ligand (ThioCholesterol, L) to metal (Silver) mole/mole ratio has no the significant influence on the size of silver nanoparticles formed in the system: the main value of silver particles diameter is equal to (2,7±0,4) nm for the case Ag:L= 1:5, (2,2±0,4) nm - for Ag:L= 1:2 and (2,1±0,6) nm – for Ag:L= 1:0,5. The chiral matrices obtained possess enantioselectivity in relation to optical isomers of 2,2´-diamino-1,1´-binaphtol (DABN) and tri-flouoroanthranyl ethanol (TFAE). We have succeeded to select optical isomers of TFAE by thin layer chromatography method (α = 1,56).
