ABSTRACT. The absorbed by C3H5X(CH3)3 (X = Ge, C) thereshold dissociation energies were measured under the different pulse length of TEA CO2 laser. The atom X affects on the threshold dissociation energy. So it is larger for C than Ge. The IR-multiphoton dissociation ( IR MPD) efficiency increases only for Ge with growth the radiation intensity (under the constant laser energy). The threshold energy decreases also only for Ge. We compared the measured threshold energies with the those that were calculated according to theory RRKM for the statistical distribution enrgy over the entire molecule or only for its one initially excited part C3H5.
